What compels me to the art of choreography is a craving for freedom, connection, and ethereal moments of exchange. Engaging with dancers in the present moment, sculpting narratives from the immediacy of our bodies is what makes me feel alive.

Music serves as my primary muse, tapping into the deepest recesses of our psyche. Whether the music surrounds us externally or we delve into the melodies within, my aim is to unravel the essence of dance as a means of self-preservation and a symphony of shared experiences.

Utilizing a diverse range of mediums including photography, sound design, and improvisation, I encourage curiosity and the unexpected in the creative process. This is why I am drawn to artists who boldly experiment and delve into a strong physical inquiry. With a deep respect for individuality, I cherish the opportunity to both nurture and challenge our perceived boundaries in the creative process. Acknowledging the creative journey as a precious gift, I eagerly collaborate in any dance-centric setting, adapting effortlessly to diverse styles and projects, alongside fellow artists dedicated to conjuring magic in the work we present.

Master Classes

A curated blend of exploring individualized movement within rigorous phrase work. Tis class is a journey guided by the principles of modern, ballet, hip-hop, African dance, improvisation, and body conditioning- challenging dancers to shift their trajectory of technique, musicality, and performance in any given moment. It encompasses a range of study including technical combinations, breath-focused stretches, groove practice, across-the-floor combinations, grande allegro, and floor work with the goal of creating an environment that prepares the dancer for diverse creative processes.

Duration: 2 to 2.5 hours / Levels: Age 10 to professional, intermediate to advanced level

I collaborate with dance companies and projects of all stripes, offering my expertise as a rehearsal director to elevate their vision to new heights. My commitment is to surpass expectations, striving to ease the burden on the artistic team and ensure seamless execution of their creative vision. My experience as a choreographer and producer, I pride myself on a keen eye for detail and holistic understanding of artistic intricacies. In my capacity as a rehearsal director, I steer the company towards a seamless alignment with the choreographer's vision while nurturing the artistic evolution of each dancer.

My method involves a comprehensive approach: from capturing the essence of the work on film to analyzing the company's strengths and areas for enhancement both technically and aesthetically, all culminating in a meticulously crafted timeline for success. During rehearsals, we meticulously refine movement nuances and intentions, encouraging each dancer to infuse their performance with authenticity and passion, providing unwavering support every step of the way.
