Destini Rogers is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in choreography design and dance performance. Her projects, where she often takes the lead, integrate sound design, film, and photography, exploring the influence that various artistic mediums and movement place on one another.

Destini's choreographic approach examines the way dance is traditionally created and presented. By collaborating in diverse environments with diverse bodies and cultural perspectives, she facilitates contemplation on themes such as self-actualization, healing through the black-bodied movement, and the intricacies of community dynamics.

Destini Rogers' artistic journey took a transformative turn when she emerged as a Top 8 Finalist on the popular show 'So You Think You Can Dance,' propelling her into the realm of commercial culture. This shift expanded her artistic horizons, allowing her to collaborate with industry icons such as Rihanna, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, and Kanye West. Her work with Reebok, Apple, and Honda showcased her prowess in film, sound design, and production, further fueling her passion for mixed media and aiding other artists in their creative development.

In 2019, Destini incorporated The Destro Experience, curating dance programs and events for dance organizations.

Collaborating with her collective, NIJAD Dance Artists, she has developed a groundbreaking sensor technology that translates dancers' movements into music. Her aim for these platforms is to revolutionize how we create and experience the intersection of dance, music, and community. Rogers is dedicated to advancing this project, aiming to develop further technology, performances, and experiences that enable performers and audiences to engage fully with the power of creative process.
